Mission Statement

To provide fans around the world with the most current, accurate information about the Macross Robotech series and be an reliable, efficient outlet to acquire related merchandise around the anime!

About the Valkyrie Exchange

The Valkyrie Exchange was established in May 1997 for the sole purpose of sharing my enthusiasm in collecting Macross/Robotech Valkyries.  After numerous inquiries from fans, we established an online store as a "one-stop shop" for Macross/Robotech fans around the world! We are a Los Angeles based e-tailer with customers within the US and from around the world--reaching as far as South America, Germany, France, Singapore, and Australia.

About the Webmaster

I was first introduced to the Macross world when I received a Takatoku VF-1S Super Valkyrie back in the early 80's.  At that time, I was only 12 years old.  Anyhow, I didn't end up keeping the toy and I ended up with a Bandai VF-1S Strike Valkyrie as a replacement sometime later.  I played with the Strike Valkyrie over the next few years but eventually shelved my hobby when I entered high school.  My Valkyrie (surprisingly still in decent condition) sat in the closet and collected dust over the next few years.

It was not until the end of my college years that my interest in Valkyries resurfaced when I became cyberly baptized with Internet.  Although, I wasn't a fanatic at this point, I was happy to find lots of websites on the Internet with information and pictures on Macross and Robotech related memorabilia.  Most importantly, I found out about all these new Valkyries I've never seen before! Going through all these sites was nostalgic of my childhood and of course, it reminded me of  the Takatoku VF-1S  Super Valkyrie.

Then one day, the Macross/Robotech "bug" finally bit me.  This occurred in October '95 when I decided to attend the Robotech Convention, ROBOCON 10,  in Anaheim California.  It was really amazing to see all these fans and meet Carl Macek.  I even got his autograph on my Robotech Art 1 book!  Browsing through the aisles of collectibles toys and seeing all the Valkyries for sale, I realized that I was going to be hooked again!  It was at that point that I set my goal to own my own Macross Valkyrie fleet!

It has been several years since the convention that I really restarted collecting Valkyries again.   Being a poor college student, money was too tight for any hobbies, especially Valkyries.  Since I graduated from college and am now making some real money to afford this expensive hobby, I've been very aggressive in locating and buying Valkyries.  Although the hunt is great, I am a bargain hunter at heart!!!

To date, all my Valkyries are displayed in the Valkyrie Exchange gallery.
